lines, Optec has designed and built numerous special lenses, either as
modifications of standard models or as full custom designs. Optec
welcomes these programs, even if the need is only for small quantities.

Long Focal Length NIR
Lenses
For imaging at longer distances,
Optec offers two lenses with Canon FD mounts and c-mount adapters.
Longer focal length lenses can be built but the maximum aperture is
generally subject to practical size and weight limits.

Large-Format NIR Lenses
Some newer
high-resolution NIR sensors are quite large. Optec can design
lenses for these.
For example, the
drawing shows the C0411, a 35 mm f/1.4 lens with an image
diameter of 32.8 mm and an MTF of 40% at 25 lp/mm.

Computational NIR Optics
In addition to imaging
lenses, Optec can produce transfer and Fourier optics for use in
optical computing. The lens shown is a relay pair designed to
provide a Fourier image in the gap for filtering by a liquid
crystal matrix. |
