Separation Prism Configuration |

Separation prisms can be built from a
variety of glasses with a wide selection of internal separation filters.
The details depend on the wavelength range to be covered, the number of
ports required, the size of the sensor to be used and the f/number of
the optics to be accommodated.

Hybrid
Separation Prisms
| By using selected glass types
for each prism segment, Optec can make separation prisms that
span the entire spectrum from 300 to 2300 nm. Optec has built
many four-channel R/G/B/NIR prisms and can provide sections that
transmit UV as well in prisms with up to five channels and mixed
spectral and neutral separation. |
